As Safety Officer in Civil Engineering should ensures health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance on construction sites by conducting risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, training workers, and enforcing regulations like OSHA, focusing on preventing accidents through inspections, documentation, and fostering a strong safety culture for projects from infrastructure to high-rise buildings. They act as protectors, educators, and regulators, mitigating hazards related to machinery, heights, and materials for both workers and the public. Preferably (RTA Approved)
- Risk Management: Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and site inspections to identify hazards (falls, heavy machinery, chemicals).
- Policy & Procedure: Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
- Training & Awareness: Deliver safety orientations and training to all personnel on PPE, fire safety, and protocols.
- Monitoring & Enforcement: Observe work, ensure correct PPE use (helmets, vests), and intervene for unsafe acts.
- Accident Investigation: Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, training, incidents, and compliance reports.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
