Workshop Manager – Steel Works (Senior) Jobs in Ras al-Khaimah at KnackHR
seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Workshop Manager to oversee our Fabrication & Steel Works division. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and leading a skilled workshop team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Manage and oversee all workshop operations including steel fabrication, cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing processes
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians, welders, fitters, and fabricators; ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet deadlines and customer specifications
- Monitor quality of work; implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain workshop equipment and machinery; schedule preventive maintenance and repairs
- Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and spare parts; optimize stock levels and procurement
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, local UAE safety standards)
- Prepare production reports, cost analysis, and performance metrics for senior management
- Liaise with sales and project management teams to understand customer requirements and timelines
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve operational efficiency
