Job Summary
The Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen and barista station to customers promptly and accurately while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and presented according to company standards before serving.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables.
- Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service stations, and work areas.
- Refill condiments, napkins, takeaway supplies, and other service items as needed.
- Assist with customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member when necessary.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when required.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or restaurant is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: AED2,200.00 per month
