Rotating Equipment Technician Jobs in Doha at Global Startegic Services
We are looking for a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician with 5–6+ years of hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting major rotating equipment, especially gas turbines and critical rotating units.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment
- Work on gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors
- Execute preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance
- Support overhauls, shutdowns, and commissioning activities
- Carry out alignment, balancing & basic vibration checks
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant)
- 5–6+ years experience in Oil & Gas / Energy sector
- Strong hands-on experience with gas turbines (mandatory)
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting & overhauls
- Knowledge of vibration / condition monitoring (basic)
- Familiar with tools, drawings & maintenance procedures
- Basic knowledge of SAP / CMMS
- Good communication skills & team coordination
