Rigging Team Leader
Primary Role:
Lead and execute safe rigging, lifting, loading/unloading, and equipment shifting activities in refinery operations as per site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all lifting activities comply with QatarEnergy standards and procedures
* Support supervisor in risk assessment, method statements, and selection of tools & tackles
* Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and brief the team
* Read and follow lifting plans and drawings
* Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and maintain records
* Ensure compliance with PTW (Permit to Work) and safety guidelines
* Handle maintenance lifting jobs (motors, pumps, valves, exchangers, etc.)
* Maintain proper housekeeping after job completion
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with the rigging supervisor
Requirements:
* Education: 10th / 12th + ITI
* Experience: 8–15 years in Oil & Gas
* Certifications: TPI, H2S, and relevant rigging certificates
* Age Limit: Below 53 years
