Retail Manager, Food Jobs in Dubai at MAXZI The Good Food Cafe and Restaurant
Indoguna Dubai is looking for an experienced Retail Manager(Food) to drive the growth of our retail vertical across the UAE. If you have a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven track record in FMCG or food distribution, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute retail growth strategies by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and driving customer acquisition across retail customers and e-commerce platforms
- Build and manage strong relationships with key retail customers, negotiate commercial agreements, secure new product listings, and deliver sustainable sales and profitability growth.
- Monitor sales performance, customer profitability, category trends, and market opportunities to develop effective account plans and maximize business potential.
- Lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment coordination to ensure product availability while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Sales and other internal stakeholders to successfully execute product launches, promotional activities, and retail initiatives.
- Analyze business performance through regular reporting and provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales, operational efficiency, customer performance, and overall business results.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in Retail Management, Key Account Management within the FMCG, food distribution, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience managing relationships with major UAE retail chains, specialty retailers, and e-commerce platforms, with a strong track record of achieving commercial objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales planning, pricing, gross margin management, customer profitability, and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build long-term business partnerships.
- A proactive and results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong leadership, accountability, and a customer-first mindset.
