Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Residential Chef with strong knowledge of international cuisines to join immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving a variety of high-quality meals, as well as maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Meal Planning and Preparation:
Create nutritious, diverse menus inspired by international cuisines.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
Kitchen Management:
Ensure the kitchen is always clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation regulations.
Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular taste tests to maintain consistency and quality of food. • Adapt recipes and techniques to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Estimate food requirements and manage groceries and supplies within the allocated budget.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on food quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinate with household staff or relevant team members to plan events or special occasions. • Communicate effectively with employers to accommodate any food preferences or concerns.
Qualifications:
Proven expertise in international cuisines with the ability to create diverse menus.
Minimum of 2 years of professional culinary experience (preferred).
Culinary degree or relevant certification.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to various dietary requirements and preferences.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
