We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Resident Engineer to join our team for an exciting and challenging project. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in civil engineering, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve project goals effectively.
Ensure that all works comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
Review and approve design plans, technical specifications, and progress reports.
Provide technical guidance and resolve any on-site engineering challenges.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address potential issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role on-site.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management tools.
Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure seamless coordination.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar).
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability under pressure.
