Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join our plumbing and sanitary wholesale company. The successful candidate will begin by working internally to gain a thorough understanding of our products, pricing, inventory, and daily operations. This training period is essential to build the technical knowledge needed to represent the company confidently.
Once fully trained, the candidate will transition into an external Relationship Manager role. Their primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities by visiting plumbing, sanitary, and hardware retailers, introducing our company and product range, building strong relationships with potential customers, and converting them into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the company’s full range of plumbing and sanitary products, pricing, and business processes.
- Develop in-depth product knowledge to effectively advise customers.
- Visit existing and prospective customers to promote our products and services.
- Identify and acquire new clients and expand the company’s customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retailers and business partners.
- Present new products, promotions, and pricing to customers.
- Gather market feedback and report customer needs and competitor activities to management.
- Achieve agreed sales and business development targets.
Ideal Candidate:
- Self confident.
- Comfortable with frequent field visits and customer meetings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Willing to learn technical product information.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or the plumbing/building materials industry is an advantage but not essential.
