Job Title: ReceptionistJob Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, welcoming visitors, handling incoming calls, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The role represents the first point of contact for the company and must maintain a professional and friendly image at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Take and relay messages accurately
  • Manage front desk area and ensure it is clean and organized
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges if required
  • Provide basic information to clients, customers, and staff
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks (filing, data entry, photocopying, scanning)
  • Support office operations as needed

Requirements / Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, scheduling tools)
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
