Job Description:
– Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, pricing, and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out and joinery projects, ensuring cost competitiveness and project profitability.
– Manage pre- and post-contract QS activities, including cost planning, valuations, variations, contract administration, cost control, procurement support, and final account preparation.
– Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering solutions, and commercial risks, while ensuring compliance with project budgets.
– Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare tender comparisons, monitor project costs, and manage variations/change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
– Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective commercial management and successful project delivery.
