Job Vacancy: Quantity Surveyor (Facilities Management & AMC)
We are a growing Facilities Management Company in Qatar and are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support our AMC, maintenance, fit-out, and renovation projects.
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Qatar
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (Facilities Management / AMC / Maintenance / Renovation works)
Key Responsibilities:
- Site visits for AMC, maintenance, fit-out, and renovation works
- Preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and quotations for AMC and non- AMC works
- Rate analysis for AMC contracts (MEP & Civil maintenance)
- Measurement and valuation of works
- Preparation of variation orders, claims, and final accounts
- Cost control and budget monitoring for ongoing AMC contracts
- Coordination with operations, maintenance, and technical teams
- Vendor inquiries, subcontractor comparisons, and negotiations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Facilities Management with AMC exposure
- Engineering Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Good knowledge of Qatar market rates, materials, and service pricing
- Strong skills in MS Excel and BOQ preparation
- Transferable Qatar visa preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple AMC sites
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AMC-based cost control and billing
- Knowledge of MEP & Civil maintenance works
- Good communication and coordination skills
