Job Summary
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support our project and commercial activities, with a basic understanding of AutoCAD and civil engineering. The role will involve quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, drawing review, site measurements, and coordination with the project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and project requirements.
- Review architectural, civil, and MEP drawings to identify quantities and scope of work.
- Prepare cost estimates and support the preparation of project quotations.
- Conduct site measurements and verify quantities as required.
- Assist in comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with the project coordinator, project engineer, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding quantities and project requirements.
- Maintain proper records of BOQs, measurements, quotations, and related commercial documents.
- Support project-related commercial and QS activities as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in construction, fit-out, or MEP projects.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and civil engineering is mandatory.
- Good understanding of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and site measurements.
- Knowledge of UAE construction practices is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of 3D design software is an added advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with project and commercial teams.
Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
