SGS is hiring “Project Quality Supervisor’s” for an Aramco project in the Eastern Saudi Region!
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced anddynamicQuality Supervisor (QA/QC)with10 years of overall experience within ProjectQuality Control, 5 years specifically in a supervisory position.
This individual will lead the quality management efforts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, improving quality processes, and leading a team ofquality controlprofessionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight of QA/QC Systems:
Develop and implement comprehensiveQuality Assurance and Quality Controlsystems tailored to the needs of large-scale construction projects.
Ensure all construction processes, materials, and outcomes meet or exceed the required quality standards, contractual specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve quality-related documentation, including inspection and test plans, method statements, and non-conformance reports.
ProjectQuality ControlManagement:
Oversee thequality controlaspects across all stages of construction, from design through completion, ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA/QC professionals, engineers, and inspectors to monitor quality performance and resolve quality-related issues.
Conductaudits, inspections, and assessmentsto identify any quality discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement &Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities forcontinuous improvementin the quality management processes and systems, driving changes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
Conductroot cause analysison quality failures and non-conformances to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
10 years of experienceinQA/QCwithin large-scale construction projects.
At least 5 years in a supervisory or management roleresponsible for managing projectquality control, including oversight of construction and designquality assurance.
AWS SCWI or CSWIP 3.1 is Mandatory.
In-depth knowledge and experience with QMS (ISO 9001), construction regulations, and quality requirementsspecific to Saudi Arabia (KSA).
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Equivalent.
Knowledge of applicable ASME, ASTM, API and other Construction International Standards.
Education
&
Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringORIndustrial / Tech college Diploma.
Professional certificationsinQuality Assurance(e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, PMP) are highly desirable.
