About the Role:
As a Quality Control Manager based in the UAE, you will oversee and ensure the highest quality standards across our construction projects. You will develop and implement QC procedures, lead quality assurance activities, manage risk, and collaborate with project teams to deliver safe, compliant, and successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control and assurance plans for construction projects
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Identify and manage project risks related to quality failures, recommending corrective actions as needed
- Maintain and review quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance records, and test results
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, and subcontractor teams to resolve quality issues
- Lead and train site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices
- Utilize project management systems to track quality metrics and report on performance
- Ensure adherence to UAE regulations, codes, and company quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven technical expertise in QA, quality control, and quality assurance processes
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and construction management practices
- Proficiency with project management systems and quality control software
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- PMP or Prince2 certification
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
- Prior experience managing quality in large-scale construction projects in the UAE
- Fluency in Arabic and English
