QC Engineer – International Contractor
Qatar is currently the fastest growing economy in the world and with over 100 billion USD being spent on Infrastructure projects within the next 7-10 years; it is one of the biggest Engineering markets worldwide.
Due to the award of a 2.2 billion QAR infrastructure project, my client, an international contractor with head offices in Europe, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced QC Engineer to join their team here in Qatar.
As QC Engineer you will be responsible for:
Implementing theQuality Controlelements of the company’s QHSE IMS system in line with the project specification and contract documents
Carrying outQuality Controlchecks on the work carried out on site
Organising and producingQuality Controlrelated documents
Site inspections
The successful candidate must have:
Degree/Diploma in an Engineering related subject
Minimum 3 years dedicated experience within a QC function
Experience working on large roads, highways, bridge and tunnel projects
Contractor background
A minimum of 3 years Middle East experience is highly desirable.
