We are Hiring QA/QC Manager
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QA/QC Manager role based in Dubai or Sharjah . The QA/QC Manager will develop, implement, and maintain the project quality management system, including quality plans, procedures, and inspection test plans in line with project specifications and applicable standards. The role involves leading site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and verifying materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and contract requirements. The QA/QC Manager will coordinate with project manager, site engineers, client representatives, and third-party laboratories to address non-conformities, manage corrective and preventive actions, and provide technical guidance on quality-related issues. Key responsibilities include overseeing documentation and record-keeping, preparing quality reports, conducting internal audits, supporting external audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across projects. The role also requires coaching and training project teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality and safety.
Qualifications
Proven experience in QA/QC management within civil engineering, construction, and hotels projects, preferably with large contractors or international engineering groups for a minimum of 15 years’ experience in quality management.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, project quality plans, inspection test plans, non-conformance management, root cause analysis).
Hands-on experience with site inspections, material testing coordination, and verification of compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in preparing and managing quality documentation, including procedures, checklists, inspection reports, method statements, and quality-related dashboards.
Proficiency in Leading the project’s QA/QC team.
Experience conducting internal quality audits, supporting external or client audits, and implementing corrective and preventive action plans.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, with strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in CIVIL.
