A Snapshot of your day

As the Service Center Manager, you will be at the forefront of overseeing the repair processes for a diverse range of rotating equipment, including gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and steam turbines. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing the facility build project, ensuring seamless coordination among various stakeholders, and delivering on time while meeting all operational requirements. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our repair business in Qatar and the surrounding region, all while upholding Siemens Energy’s esteemed standards for safety and quality.

How Youll Make An Impact

Lead the planning and execution of facility build projects, focusing on equipment procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure operational readiness.

Effectively manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the Service Center, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.

Build and mentor a skilled team of technicians and engineers, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Drive safety initiatives by ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular audits, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and gathering feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Oversee daily operations, resource allocation, and inventory management while collaborating with business development to identify new opportunities and support lean implementation projects.

What You Bring

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years in client service or leadership roles within a manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years in a service repair facility.

Strong ability to lead manufacturing operations effectively, demonstrating excellent project management capabilities.

In-depth knowledge of repair technologies (welding, heat treatment, thermal coatings) and familiarity with rotating equipment repairs (steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, valves).

Proven experience in team management and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency.

Excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive under pressure, with a commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
