Job Summary
:
The QA/QC Mechanical Manager is responsible for supervising and managing thequality assuranceandquality controlaspects of mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
:
Quality Management
:
Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
Inspection and Testing
:
Oversee mechanical inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure all mechanical equipment and systems meet the required standards.
Documentation
:
Maintain detailed records of all QA/QC processes. Prepare and submit QA/QC documentation and reports to clients andproject managementteams.
Non-Conformance Management
:
Identify, document, and manage non-conformances. Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
Vendor Coordination
:
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure purchased materials and equipment meet project requirements.
Audits
:
Conduct internal and external quality audits. Ensure compliance with project requirements and facilitatecontinuous improvement.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gaz Construction Projects. Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC management
Certification in QA/QC such as CWI, AWS, or other relevant certifications
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
Excellentcommunication, organizational, andleadershipskills
Skills
Proficiency inquality inspectionand testing techniques
Familiarity with mechanical systems, including piping, HVAC, and manufacturing
Ability to work collaboratively withcross-functional teams
