Job Summary
We are looking for a QA/QC Inspector – MEP with a minimum of 4 years of experience in villa construction projects to join our engineering consultancy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting MEP works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of MEP works including electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Verify that all MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
- Monitor site activities and identify any non-conformities or quality issues.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities and maintain related records.
- Review material approvals and ensure only approved materials are installed on site.
- Prepare inspection reports, site observations, snag lists, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of quality concerns.
- Verify compliance with local authority regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and corrective actions.
- Support the QA/QC Engineer and Resident Engineer in achieving project quality objectives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4+ years of QA/QC inspection experience in MEP works for villa construction projects.
- Experience working with engineering consultancies in the UAE is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, inspection procedures, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Familiarity with UAE building regulations and relevant international standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 1–10 days will be preferred.
