Purchase Officer (Interior Fit-Out & Joinery) Jobs in Sharjah at UNESIA INTERIOR LLC
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Officer (Interior Fit-Out & Joinery) to join our team. The role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and subcontractor services for our high-end projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong supplier management skills, excellent commercial awareness, and hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and fit-out-related products in line with project specifications and timelines.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions with vendors.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Designers, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Teams to understand project requirements and procurement schedules.
- Issue Purchase Orders and monitor order status from placement through delivery.
- Track and manage material deliveries to ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors across the UAE.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Resolve supplier-related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, contracts, and purchase documentation.
- Support project teams in obtaining material samples, technical data sheets, and compliance documentation when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience within the Interior Fit-Out industry in the UAE.
- Proven experience handling procurement for luxury villas, residential fit-out projects, retail stores, or commercial interiors.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, joinery, furniture, MEP-related procurement, finishes, and FF&E.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost management.
- Familiarity with UAE market suppliers and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
