We are seeking an experienced Services Project Manager to lead and deliver high-quality electrical service projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle-from planning and execution to customer handover-ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards in the power distribution and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
Collaborate with field engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Review and interpret electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and system layouts.
Oversee testing (FAT/SAT), installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Ensure technical solutions align with industry standards and client requirements.
Act as the main liaison for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Conduct progress meetings and ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication.
Manage post-delivery support and warranty-related activities.
Prepare budgets, cost forecasts, and financial tracking reports.
Monitor expenses, manage invoicing, and handle change orders.
Assist in preparing commercial proposals, claims, and contract variations.
Enforce adherence to HSE policies and local regulatory requirements.
Promote a safety-first culture among project teams and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required); PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
8-10 years of experience in electrical service project management, preferably in power distribution, industrial systems, or related fields.
Technical expertise in LV/MV switch gear, transformers, protection systems, and industrial power solutions.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness with experience in contracts and risk management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
Background in EPC, O&M, or utility projects.
Familiarity with IEC, NEMA, and other electrical standards.
Experience in customer-facing service environments.
