Commercial Manager – Roads and Highways Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Menasa & Partners
Our client is a leading international organization who has an impressive proven track record for delivering major infrastructure projects throughout the World.
They are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with extensive experience in high value pre and post contract management within the Infrastructure sector. Highways and Roads experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of commercial aspects of the project and the business, ensuring consistency with Company Policies and Strategies.
- Managing a team consisting of quantity surveyors and liaise between the project team, management and external stakeholders (consultants, main contractors, clients and subcontractors).
- Presenting periodic commercial reports and negotiating variations to achieve commercially advantageous outcomes.
- Advising the project and management team on matters such as contract compliance, contract awareness, contract change management, claims, variations, legal and financial matters.
Qualifications
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years post graduate experience.
- Member of an Internationally Professional Body – RICS, CIArb.
- Experience working on major roads, bridge, utilities and infrastructure projects.
- Experienced in managing and directing a team.
- Computer literate with experience in FIDIC.
