Project Engineer – Civil / MEP
Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping LLC is looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Civil / MEP to coordinate and supervise civil and MEP works across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from start to handover.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Coordinate daily site activities with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
- Supervise civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and external works.
- Ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate MEP services with civil, architectural, structural, and landscape works.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, submissions, and technical requirements.
- Prepare and follow up on material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, IRs, method statements, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor subcontractor work and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams.
- Identify technical issues, delays, and site problems and assist in resolving them.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, as-built documentation, and final handover.
- Ensure all works comply with UAE regulations, project specifications, quality, and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Project Engineer.
- Experience in civil and MEP works is required.
- Experience in landscaping, irrigation, swimming pools, water features, or external works is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, construction methods, and project coordination.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
- UAE civil/construction experience is highly preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
