Project Engineer (Construction) Jobs in Sharjah at Tameem for marketing and logistics solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring completion within approved time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily site activities with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Review and monitor drawings, BOQs, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Supervise building and road construction works and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports for management.
- Coordinate with relevant UAE municipalities and authorities for inspections, approvals, and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UAE construction standards, HSE requirements, and authority regulations.
- Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure work is executed according to contractual requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing, approvals, snagging, and project handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 12–15 years of total construction experience, with 8–10 years of UAE experience.
- Proven experience in building and road construction projects.
- UAE Municipality/Engineering Registration is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, standards, and authority requirements.
- Strong project coordination, site management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling software.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED16,000.00 per month
