Project Engineer – Client Side Jobs in Dubai at Prescott Real Estate Development
Role Summary
Represent the developer’s interests on assigned projects, overseeing consultants and contractors to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality and specification standards — from design coordination through construction to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site progress against the programme and report on milestones, delays, and risks.
- Review and coordinate design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals with consultants.
- Oversee contractor works for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Support cost control — review variations, valuations, and payment applications with the commercial team.
- Track and manage RFIs, NCRs, inspections, and snagging.
- Coordinate authority approvals and ensure compliance with DLD, RERA, and local authority requirements.
- Assist in contractor and consultant management, meetings, and progress documentation.
- Support handover, testing & commissioning, and defect close-out.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction/real estate, ideally client/developer side in the UAE.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, FIDIC contracts, and MEP/structural coordination.
- Familiarity with DLD/RERA processes and UAE building regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
- Strong coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
- UAE experience preferred; driving licence an advantage.
Pay: AED15,000.00 – AED20,000.00 per month
