Project Engineer Jobs in Ajman at Tekmark Global Solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors regarding technical requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs and coordinate procurement of timber, hardware, veneers, and accessories.
- Monitor manufacturing progress in the factory and ensure compliance with approved shop drawings.
- Plan and supervise site installation activities for wooden doors, frames, architraves, and related joinery.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before production.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure products meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules and report progress to management.
- Resolve technical issues related to production and installation.
- Coordinate inspections, snagging, and final project handover.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Manage subcontractors and installation teams when applicable.
- Control project costs and assist in variation orders and claims.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, Interior Design, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Project planning and scheduling
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Microsoft Project or Primavera (preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of fire-rated door standards and installation requirements
- Material estimation and BOQ preparation
- Quality control and inspection
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Time management and multitasking
- 3–8 years of experience in wooden doors, joinery, fit-out, or woodworking projects.
- Experience with fire-rated, acoustic, and decorative wooden doors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials, finishes, and door hardware.
- Ability to read architectural and shop drawings.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
