Project Design Manager

Candidzone is a leading recruitment and HR solutions provider in Qatar, connecting top talent with reputable organizations across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Design Manager (Architect) for a leading engineering consultancy project in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building design and a strong background working with reputed architectural and engineering consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage design development for building projects
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering consultants
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
• Manage project timelines, design quality, and deliverables
• Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams
• Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues
• Ensure smooth coordination between multidisciplinary teams

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
• 12–15 years of overall experience
• Minimum 7 years with engineering/architectural consultants
• Strong experience in building design projects
• Proven ability to manage complex design processes
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bilingual candidates preferred
• Priority: Lebanese, Jordanian/Palestinian
• Also considered: Egyptian, Syrian
• Experience working with reputed consultants such as:
• AEB, EHAF, Unii Engineering, QDC, United Consultants
• CEG, James Cubitt, MZP, Lacasa, DAR
• MMUP certification is an advantage (not mandatory)
