Job Description
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
Cost Management:
Establish and manage project budgets.
Monitor expenditures and promptly address variances.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks.
Implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Implement project control procedures.
Prepare regular status reports and forecasts.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain transparent communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Facilitate relevant meetings and training sessions.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A Master’s degree is advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in project control within the oil and gas industry.
At least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
Familiarity with Saudi Aramco’s project management processes and standards is highly desirable.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Experience with Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and tools like Power BI.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex project data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience, with the ability to mentor and lead a team of project control professionals.
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards related to construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
