About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the retail industry, is seeking a Head of Retail to join their team. As a Head of Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing all retail operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring operational excellence across all store locations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, strategic planning, and commercial acumen, which will align successfully in the organization.
About the Requirements
- Develop and implement retail strategies aligned with overall business objectives while overseeing daily store operations.
- Drive sales growth through market analysis, commercial initiatives, and effective KPI and budget management.
- Lead and develop Regional, Area, and Store Managers to build a high-performance, customer-focused retail culture.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience standards while resolving escalated customer issues efficiently.
- Oversee inventory management, compliance, financial performance (P&L), and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize operations.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive retail experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and financial management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems (ERP/POS).
