Job Title: Oral Care Territory Manager
Job Location: Jeddah
The Oral Care Territory Manager is primarily focused on educating and influencing dental professionals in a designated geographic area. The territory manager collaborates with their team and the Professional Oral Health (POH) Manager to execute strategies aimed at increasing dental professional usage, recommendations, and sales.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in dentistry, dental hygiene, pharmacy, or Chemistry/Bio Sciences, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in territory management.
YOUR TEAM
You will report to the Saudi Arabia Professional Oral Health Unit Sales Manager and work closely with the brand team to enhance in-field execution.
How Success Looks Like
Territory Account Management:
Manage 450-600 office accounts, collaborating across channels and managing business priorities.
Strategic Influencing Skills:
Develop proficiency in strategic influencing processes.
Market Expertise:
Build industry knowledge and provide field insights on go-to-market strategies.
Strategic Thinking:
Develop a territory strategy aligned with market conditions and multi-channel inputs.
Business Analysis:
Analyze data to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
Continuous Learning:
Demonstrate agility in acquiring new skills to adapt to evolving regulations.
Responsibilities of the Role
Field Influencing: Deliver 9-11 calls daily to dental professionals, including general practice dentists, hygienists, and specialists. Conduct lunch & learn sessions as needed.
Coverage Routing: Develop and implement an efficient route plan to reach 95-100% of the target dental professionals 3-6 times per year.
Manage Individual Expense Budgets: Keep territory activities within budget.
Call Report Management: Record all calls in Salesforce promptly (daily).
Customer Service: Return calls, process orders, and handle requests.
Territory Development: Engage in opportunities at dental association meetings and study clubs.
Conventions: Attend trade shows and conventions as assigned.
Action Plan: Create and execute a territory action plan aligned with POH objectives.
Meetings/Conference Calls: Participate actively in all scheduled meetings and calls.
Key Project Work: Represent the field on key projects such as network, convention, channel, and customer service teams.
Data Analysis: Review reports monthly and prepare quarterly business reviews.
Job Qualifications
Role Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence.
Technical proficiency in life sciences, with a focus on dental science.
Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating leadership and collaboration.
Understanding of business needs and customer sensitivity.
Engagement with and leveraging of innovation and technology; effective presentation skills and computer literacy.
Prerequisites
Experience in detailing to healthcare professionals in Saudi Arabia.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and implement systemic solutions.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Strong leadership and influencing skills across organizational levels.
Ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
