Job Summary:
International Uniforms is seeking adynamicand experiencedProduction Managerto oversee and enhance our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the textile industry, with a focus on uniform production. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production line, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to meet the needs of our esteemed customers, including hospitals, schools, hotels, malls, restaurants, and other institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the uniform production line.
Ensure all production targets are met in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor the production process to optimizeresource utilizationand reduce waste.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that all raw materials (fabrics, accessories, etc.) are available as per production schedules.
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain stringentquality controlmeasures across all stages of production.
Work closely with thequality assuranceteam to ensure that all uniforms meet the required specifications and standards.
Ensure regular product testing and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
TeamLeadership:
Lead and manage the production team, ensuring clearcommunicationand effective delegation of tasks.
Train and mentor junior staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet production goals.
Motivate the team to maintain a high level of productivity and morale.
Operational Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
Monitor and analyze production timelines, adjusting resources as necessary to avoid delays.
Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to coordinate production and delivery timelines.
Cost Control &Budget Management:
Manage production costs and strive to improve efficiency, reducing costs where possible.
Work closely with the finance department to adhere to the production budget and ensure profitability.
Continuously evaluate production processes and implement cost-saving strategies.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and other essential production supplies.
Work with the warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure the proper stocking and timely availability of materials.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all production activities are carried out in adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify potential hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents or damage.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on production status, progress, and any issues affecting the process.
Maintain accurate records of all production activities and ensure that documentation is in line with company policies.
Requirements:
Experience:Minimum of 2 years in the textile manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in uniform or garment production.
Education:A Bachelor’s degree, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Strongleadershipand team management abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
In-depth knowledge of textile production processes andquality control.
Strongproblem-solvingabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Knowledgeable in MS Office Tools.
Languages:Proficiency in Hindi & English is required;
