About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Ready-Mix Concrete Plant in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, customer service, and operational excellence. Responsibilities typically include overseeing production, maintenance, quality control, inventory management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all plant operations, including production, dispatch coordination, maintenance, and quality control.
- Ensure the consistent production of high-quality ready-mix concrete in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Lead and supervise plant personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production efficiency, plant performance, and operational KPIs.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant equipment and machinery.
- Manage raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and environmental requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Ready-Mix Concrete operations, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of concrete production processes, batching systems, quality standards, and plant maintenance.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
