Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor with manufacturing experience to oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards, achieve production targets, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage production teams while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve planned production schedules.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency while minimizing downtime and material wastage.
- Lead, motivate, and manage production operators to ensure high performance and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Planning, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and performance analysis.
- Investigate production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Conduct shift briefings and provide on-the-job training to production personnel.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate production records and inventory usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
- With relevant experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze production data and prepare reports.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication, engineering, automotive, LPG cylinder, pressure vessel, or industrial manufacturing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience in manpower planning and production scheduling.
