About the Role
Hili Gifts Market is looking for a Product Research & Design Specialist to join our team.
This role focuses on researching products, identifying their manufacturers or suppliers, estimating accurate dimensions, and creating professional factory briefs and CAD-style product sheets based on reference images.
We also value creativity. In addition to recreating existing products, you’ll be expected to develop new product concepts and design ideas inspired by current market trends. Our products are primarily luxury, minimalist, and modern home furnishings, including tables, side tables, consoles, trolleys, trays, placemats, dining accessories, dinner sets, and other home décor products.
Responsibilities
- Research products using reverse image search and supplier websites.
- Identify original manufacturers or suppliers whenever possible.
- Estimate realistic dimensions, materials, and construction methods.
- Create CAD-style drawings and factory specification sheets.
- Prepare professional PDF product briefs.
- Generate realistic AI product renders while preserving the original design.
- Develop creative product concepts and modern design variations aligned with our brand.
- Occasionally assist with presentation layouts and simple graphic design tasks.
Example Task
Given a single product image, you will:
- Research the product online.
- Identify its source or manufacturer.
- Estimate dimensions and materials.
- Create a CAD-style drawing with measurements.
- Prepare a factory-ready PDF specification sheet.
- Suggest one or more creative design variations suitable for our luxury minimalist product collection.
Requirements
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Flux, Firefly, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Creative thinking with a strong eye for modern luxury design.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience in product, furniture, industrial, or interior design is a strong advantage.
Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
