Job Description
AGC is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sourcing, supplier negotiation, purchasing, and coordinating procurement activities across different product categories.
The candidate must be organized, responsible, and capable of managing suppliers, comparing prices, following up on orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers locally and internationally
- Request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate best terms
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers
- Follow up on shipments, deliveries, and documentation
- Maintain supplier records and procurement files
- Coordinate with sales, operations, logistics, and accounts teams
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure purchases meet company requirements, quality standards, and timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of procurement experience
- Experience in trading, general trading, import/export, logistics, or supply chain is preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing and purchasing procedures
- Ability to compare quotations and manage multiple suppliers
- Basic knowledge of shipping documents, invoices, and delivery coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and other softwares
- Must be based in UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai
- UAE Driving License
Preferred Candidate
- Reliable, honest, and detail-oriented
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Good English communication skills; Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Persian is an advantage
