We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services essential for our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
– Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
– Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.
– Support the Procurement Manager in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining good vendor relationships.
– Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock control to prevent project delays.
– Collaborate with the project team to understand procurement needs and timelines.
– Ensure compliance with legal and company standards regarding procurement processes.
