We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer – Offshore Structural to
join our team
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the design, analysis, and construction of offshore structures such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of offshore structural engineers in the design and analysis of offshore structures.
Develop and implement solutions for structural integrity, reliability, and performance of offshore platforms, jackets, and other structures.
Coordinate with
cross-functional teams
to ensure that projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on structural design, including materials selection, fabrication, and construction methods.
Conduct structural assessments and inspections to identify potential weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
Review and approve structural engineering drawings, reports, and documentation.
Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards related to offshore structural engineering.
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to address project requirements and resolve technical issues.
Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Mentor junior engineers and support their
professional development
within the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
At least 10 years of experience in offshore structural design and engineering.
Extensive knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as API, AISC, and ISO.Strong
leadership
and
project management
skills.
