Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our team in the cable manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling, moving, and storing cable reels, raw materials, and finished products using a forklift. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to ensure smooth warehouse and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely to transport, load, and unload cable reels, raw materials, and finished products.
Stack and organize materials in designated warehouse areas while ensuring stability and safety.
Supply raw materials to production lines and transfer finished goods to storage or dispatch areas.
Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of material movement.
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to maintain efficient workflow.
Identify and report any damaged or defective materials or equipment issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and work areas.
Qualifications & Skills,
Valid forklift operator certification/license
