Duties & Responsibilities Plumbing Works
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Attend plumbing breakdowns, water leakage and emergency maintenance complaints.
- Repair and replace water supply pipes, valves, fittings and connections.
- Repair and maintain taps, mixers, showers, wash basins, WC, bidets and other sanitary fixtures.
- Attend blocked drains, floor drains, sinks and drainage lines.
- Carry out water leakage detection and rectification.
- Maintain hot and cold water systems.
- Check and maintain water tanks, float valves, pressure reducing valves and related components.
- Maintain sewage, drainage and rainwater systems.
- Assist with water pump maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Check and maintain booster pumps, transfer pumps and associated plumbing equipment.
- Carry out pipe cutting, threading, jointing, PPR/UPVC/HDPE pipe work and fittings as required.
- Perform minor waterproofing and sealing works related to plumbing.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify potential leaks or plumbing issues.
General FM Works
- Attend general FM maintenance complaints and work orders.
- Assist with basic HVAC/AC, electrical, mechanical and civil maintenance works when required.
- Carry out minor electrical works such as replacement of lights, switches and sockets under proper supervision.
- Assist with pumps, motors and other mechanical equipment.
- Support other maintenance teams during breakdowns and planned maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine site inspections and report defects or abnormalities.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition.
- Complete work orders, checklists and maintenance reports.
- Follow company, client and HSE safety procedures.
- Perform other FM, plumbing and maintenance-related duties assigned by the Supervisor/Engineer.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical or related technical field is preferred.
- GCC experience is preferred.
- UAE Facilities Management experience will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with 2–3 years of relevant plumbing/FM experience are preferred.
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, sanitary fixtures, drainage and water supply systems.
- Basic knowledge of pumps and mechanical systems.
- Willingness to perform general FM-related maintenance works.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.
