Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for generating sales for the cargo forwarding services using a variety of sales techniques.
· Cold calling potential customers and selling the company’s shipping services.
· Formulating proper quotation
· Researching the target market and finding companies to target.
· Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales.
· Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
· Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the sales manager.
· Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the sales manager.
· Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale.
· Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers.
· Following up with past customers and cross selling shipping services.
· Providing assistance to other members of the sales team.
· Following up on leads generated by other departments.
· Investigating and resolving queries from customers.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience with cargo forwarding and shipping industry
· Values accuracy on shipping documents like quotation and invoice etc.
· Has initiative to follow-up shipment operations from negotiating with clients, collecting shipping requirements, delivery of shipment until settlement of payment.
· Self-motivated and organized individual.
· Track record of achieving KPI’s and targets.
· Outgoing with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds and companies with all kinds of nature.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED4,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
Shipping and Logistics: 3 years (Required)
Sales Executive: 3 years (Required)
Language:
Malayalam (Required)
