Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, dishwashers).
- Servicing, inspecting, and repairing water, drainage, and heating systems.
- Servicing, inspecting, and repairing water, drainage, and heating systems.
- Reading, interpreting, and working from blueprints and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts.
- Measuring, cutting, bending, and threading pipes, as well as joining them using couplings, clamps, or welding techniques.
- Diagnosing and fixing leaks, blockages, or malfunctions in pipes and appliances.
- Ensuring all systems meet local and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Mastery of plumbing tools, materials, and pipe-fitting techniques.
- Ability to work in tight spaces, lift heavy materials, and stand for long periods.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex plumbing issues.
- A trade school diploma, apprenticeship completion, and relevant state licensing are generally required.
- Precision in measuring and cutting to prevent leaks and structural issues.
Salary: AED 2,500 plus Food and Accommodation
