About Mussawir Framers
Mussawir Framers is a specialist fine art framing studio based in Al Quoz, Dubai. We provide museum-quality custom framing for artists, galleries, collectors, interior designers, and corporate clients. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Picture Framer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture and assemble custom wooden and aluminium picture frames.
* Measure, cut, and join mouldings with precision.
* Cut and prepare window mounts and backing boards.
* Handle artworks carefully using museum-grade framing materials and conservation techniques.
* Stretch canvas, fit artworks into frames, and complete final assembly.
* Operate framing equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all finished frames meet the company’s quality standards.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
* Assist with artwork handling, packing, and installation when required.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience in professional picture framing.
* Skilled in working with wooden and aluminium frames.
* Experience in mount cutting and handling museum-grade framing materials.
* Proficient in using framing equipment and power tools.
* Experience in picture framing or fine arts craftsmanship is highly preferred.
* Basic English communication skills required; Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.
* Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
