Position: Pastry Commis (French Pastry)
Starting Salary based on knowledge and skills: SAR 2,000 – SAR 3,500 with FREE shared room, transportation, and 1 duty meal
Job Role: We are looking for a skilled and passionate pastry professional to join our team. You will prepare high-quality French pastries and baked goods in a luxury cafe setting in Riyadh. This role suits someone who loves detail, quality, and working in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake French pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts every day according to the menu.
- Follow all recipes carefully to make sure the quality and taste are always the same.
- Keep your work area clean and organized at all times.
- Help set up the pastry station before service and clean it after service.
- Check ingredients before use — make sure they are fresh and in good condition.
- Work together with the kitchen team to complete orders on time.
- Support and learn from senior chefs when needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts from a recognized school OR
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a professional pastry or bakery kitchen (fine dining or hotel experience is a plus).
- Good knowledge of French pastry techniques such as choux, croissants, tarts, entremets, and plated desserts.
Pay: ﷼2,000.00 – ﷼3,500.00 per month
