Job Summary

At Rich Chocolatier, the Pastry & Chocolate Decorator is a key artisan responsible for elevating desserts and chocolate creations into premium, visually refined products that reflect the brand’s luxury identity. This role requires a combination of precision, creativity, and mastery in chocolate artistry to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with high-end retail and gifting standards in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute luxury-level decorations for chocolates, pastries, and signature desserts with a strong focus on elegance and detail.
  • Create handcrafted chocolate elements (garnishes, pralines, showpieces, molds) using advanced tempering and finishing techniques.
  • Ensure all products meet premium presentation standards suitable for luxury display, gifting, and VIP orders.
  • Apply fine finishing techniques such as gold leaf application, mirror glazing, intricate piping, and artistic plating.
  • Maintain strict adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all boutique displays and production batches.
  • Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and Production Team to develop seasonal collections and exclusive designs (Ramadan, Eid, corporate gifting, etc.).
  • Monitor and maintain the highest standards of hygiene, organization, and product handling in line with Qatar regulations and luxury food standards.
  • Handle customized and VIP orders, ensuring personalization and flawless execution.
  • Support innovation by proposing new creative concepts aligned with global luxury dessert trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in high-end pastry or luxury chocolate brands.
  • Advanced knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and artistic decoration.
  • Strong artistic sense with attention to fine detail and perfection.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining premium quality output.
  • Understanding of luxury customer expectations and presentation aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards applicable in Qatar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Pastry & Chocolate Arts.
  • Experience in boutique chocolateries, 5-star hotels, or premium patisseries.
  • Familiarity with international luxury dessert trends and techniques.
