Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in baking, dessert preparation, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering high-quality pastries that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pastry preparation: Prepare cakes, tarts, croissants, éclairs, and other desserts.
  • Bread baking: Produce artisan breads and specialty loaves.
  • Chocolate work: Temper chocolate, create pralines, truffles, and decorative pieces.
  • Sugar artistry: Craft caramel, spun sugar, and artistic decorations.
  • Menu development: Design seasonal menus and innovate new recipes.
  • Kitchen management: Supervise junior staff and maintain workflow.
  • Food safety compliance: Ensure adherence to HACCP and hygiene standards.
  • Inventory management: Monitor supplies, order ingredients, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
