Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Revit MEP Trainer to deliver practical, industry-focused training to professionals and engineering teams. The trainer should have strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and the ability to deliver both beginner and advanced-level training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical Revit MEP training for individual and corporate learners.
- Develop training materials, exercises, projects, and assessments aligned with learner requirements.
- Cover real-world MEP design, modelling, documentation, and coordination workflows.
- Demonstrate best practices for BIM-based MEP modelling and project delivery.
- Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshoot learner queries during practical sessions.
- Customize training content based on the participants’ experience and project requirements.
- Evaluate learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
Key Training Areas
The trainer should be proficient in:
- Revit MEP fundamentals and interface
- Architectural, structural and MEP model coordination
- HVAC system modelling
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Electrical system modelling
- Fire protection systems
- Ductwork and piping
- Equipment and component placement
- MEP families and parameters
- Views, schedules and annotations
- MEP documentation and construction drawings
- Worksharing and collaboration
- Linked models and coordination
- Clash detection and coordination workflows
- BIM standards and best practices
- Revit templates and project setup
- Quantity take-off and schedules
- Exporting and interoperability with other BIM platforms
- Navisworks integration and clash coordination would be an advantage.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical industry experience in MEP/BIM.
- Previous experience delivering Revit MEP training to professionals or corporate teams.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and/or fire protection systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct highly practical, project-based training.
- Autodesk certification or relevant BIM/MEP certifications would be an advantage.
Pay: QAR35.00 – QAR50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 per week
