Wood Painter
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Painter to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming before finishing.
- Apply paint, stain, lacquer, varnish, PU, polyester, and other wood finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
- Mix paints and finishes to achieve the required color, shade, and texture.
- Inspect finished products to ensure a smooth, consistent, and high-quality finish.
- Perform touch-ups, repairs, and refinishing as required.
- Maintain painting tools, spray equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow company quality standards and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wood Painter, Furniture Painter, or in a similar wood finishing role.
- Strong knowledge of wood finishing materials, including paints, stains, lacquers, PU, and polyester finishes.
- Proficiency in spray painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Ability to produce high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Physically fit and capable of handling furniture and joinery items safely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating spray booths and related painting equipment.
- Knowledge of color matching and custom finishing techniques.
- Experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out industries.
- Familiarity with reading production drawings and finishing specifications is an advantage.
Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
