PSL Arabia is a logistics and freight forwarding company providing integrated shipping and supply chain solutions. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive with hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations to join our Saudi Arabia team.
Job Summary
The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day freight forwarding operations, including import and export shipments by Air and Sea, shipment documentation, carrier coordination, customs clearance follow-up, shipment tracking, and customer communication.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of freight forwarding procedures and be capable of handling multiple shipments while ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily import and export freight forwarding operations.
- Handle end-to-end shipment coordination from booking to final delivery.
- Coordinate Air Freight and Sea Freight shipments with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, agents, and customers.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documents including:
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Air Waybill (AWB)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Delivery Order
- Shipping Instructions
- Follow up with customs brokers and relevant authorities for customs clearance.
- Monitor shipment schedules, cargo movement, arrival notices, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Communicate with customers and overseas agents regarding shipment status, delays, documentation, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, discrepancies, and documentation problems.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, operational files, and databases.
- Update shipment details in ERP/freight forwarding systems.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports as required.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Customs, Warehouse, and other internal departments.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with company SOPs and applicable regulations.
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes and customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics Operations.
- Hands-on experience in freight forwarding is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Import & Export procedures.
- Practical experience in Air Freight and Sea Freight operations.
- Good understanding of shipping documentation and customs clearance procedures.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding terminology, Incoterms, and international shipping processes.
- Experience coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP/logistics software is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Saudi Arabia / GCC freight forwarding experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with strong practical experience in freight forwarding operations, particularly those who have handled end-to-end import/export shipments and coordination with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transporters, and customers, will be preferred.
Pay: ﷼5,000.00 – ﷼8,000.00 per month
