For our HOYER Logistics Arabia office in Dammam, we are looking for an
Operations Coordinator.
Currently we are recruiting for an Operations Coordinator who will contribute to improve the customer experience by fostering positive customer interactions, identifying customer issues, providing solutions, and conversing in a polite and professional manner, thereby leaving customers with a positive lasting impression of doing business with HOYER.
YOUR TASKS AND DUTIES
Process daily operational tasks together with the agent.
Monitor and control the agents activities.
Authority to take decisions in order to realize duties/aims.
Allocate appropriate equipment to the transport jobs.
Follow up on the depot activities together with the agent.
Control of operational/financial deviations between quotes and actual orders.
Follow up on claims together with applicable parties.
Control of deviations from planned activities via Improvement/Services Failure Forms.
Knowledge of working procedures and give recommendations for Improvement.
Comply with norms and regulations within this company.
Perform Monthly demurrage Billing.
Arrange repositioning of empty equipment basis instructions received from the supervisor or the regional/global management.
Liaise with vendors as and when required.
YOUR SKILLS
Fluent English
Background in shipping/logistics is preferred
Open and positive approach and character
Good communication skills (face to face and via the phone)
Good interpersonal communication / negotiation skills (technical and commercial competent)
Accurateness and attention to detail is required
Working under pressure and sticking to deadlines
Proficient computer skills in MS office
